Live at Lusty Glaze Beach on the 24th of July from 6.30pm

This summer we will have the Brit nominated and award winning ‘The Feeling‘ playing out to the crowds as the sun sets into the ocean.

The band’s 2006 debut album, ‘Twelve Stops and Home’, topped the UK charts, and yielded three Top 10 singles. They were the most-played band on UK radio in 2006, and their success was capped the following spring when they were named Songwriters of the Year at the Ivor Novello awards.

Two more hit albums – ‘Join With Us’ and ‘Together We Were Made’ – followed, and the band have recently released their fourth album ‘The Boy Cried Wolf’ which the critics have called their best yet – “Heart tugging melodies, textual beauty, tunes that other bands would kill for.  The best album of their career.” SUNDAY TIMES CULTURE MAGAZINE.

Tickets are available  through our offices (no booking fee) on 01637 872444 or via our booking agent Seetickets (booking fee applies).

2013 – what a year!

2012 brought us the likes of Feeder and Fishermans Friends and saw the launch of our first Free Sundowner Sessions.  In 2013 we took this up a gear and it has been epic for Lusty Glaze Beach.  We kicked off our Sundowner Sessions on the 30th of May with the return of Reef, supported by The Jeremiahs and The Sum Of.  The 2nd of June saw Seth Lakeman stun the crowds with his array of musical talents, supported by the People’s String Foundation and Mathew and Me.  Midsummers day took a folky twist with Radio 2′s best folk duo – Show Of Hands, supported by Phillip Henry and Hannah Martin.

Next on the event Calendar was Lusty Balls (Dodgeball on the beach).  The event ended with a Free Sundowner Session with Jive music supplied by the utterly awesome Company B.  Rumour had it that we had one of the UK’s top Jive dancers swinging around on the deck!  June, July and August saw Lusty Glaze host a plethora of free Sundowner Sessions provided by the likes Kezia, Jamie Beau, Lukas Drinkwater, Emily Howard, Cole Stacey, Joseph O’Keefe, Gaz Brrokfield, Emerald, The Jeremiahs, Mark Nichols, Debbie Kate, Joe Francis, Albenaza, Lesoir, Hold the Sun, The Jar Family, The Vans and of course Joe Hurworth

The seemingly never ending supply of awesome free music throughout the summer months was punctuated by what possibly were the events of the Summer.  The Levellers  and The Proclaimers played to sell-0ut audiences on the 18th and 19th of July.  More than ably supported by the Likes of Emerald, Gaz Brrokfield, Kezia and the Jar Family and blessed by Carribean-like weather and stupendous sunsets, these will go down in Lusty Glaze history.  From these gigs, the Sunday Times put Lusty Glaze Beach at the top of the list for watching live music outdoors.  The Summer Season was rounded off with the Lusty Glaze Beach Rugby and another free Sundowner Session alongside fireworks featuring Emerald who truly rocked the beach with Irish folk footstompingly great music.  2000 people dancing like Michael Flatley had the beach vibrating!
