We always get asked what sort of restaurant we are, but I find it very hard to put us in an easily describable box.
Our food is fresh, locally sourced from within a 30 mile radius where possible, homemade by the kitchen team where possible, and we like to think reflective and in synergy with our spectacular location.
Our staff are all employed first and foremost because they are friendly, kind, and willing to go the extra mile to give our guests a truly memorable experience. It’s cheesy – but we do think of them as the Lusty Glaze family. They are a truly fantastic team who we are immensely proud of.
Because our food is freshly made, we are by no means a fast food joint – in fact our food takes time to prepare. It is very likely that your chairs wont match, your spoon and fork may be different patterns and if you are on the beach eating, your drinks will be served in plastic cups, so we definitely are not a fine dining restaurant either!
We ARE are restaurant that you can take your time in and relax, enjoy beautifully tasting food served to you by lovely people whilst being bathed by the orange glow of the setting sun over the ocean, or whilst your kids dig sand castles on the beach…
We ARE also all humans – no robots here – and so we will make mistakes. Please let US know if we have made mistakes or you are not happy, and not Trip Advisor! We will do everything we can to make things right…

Valentines Day 2015
Valentines Day is truly special at Lusty Glaze. Thousands of fairy lights, candles, flame heaters, a log burner, live music and an incredible seven course taster menu await couples this year!
Our special Valentines menu is available on both the 13th and the 14th of February, with live music both nights. We are filling up very quickly so book soon to avoid disappointment!
The Valentines Day tasting menu is £35pp.

In this unique location we have the luxury of only preparing the best fresh food straight from the field or the ocean. Our produce is only cooked from fresh ingredients, we serve nothing from frozen. As such, our menu changes daily dependent entirely on the 7.30am delivery from the local butcher, grocer and fishmonger.
The children’s menu is designed along the same basis with smaller dishes and good old fashioned home-style cooking.

Surf and Turf is back!
Winter is here and the best bit about that is not Santa, it is the return of the Surf and Turf Special! Due to last years popularity of the special, we are running the offer from Wednesday to Saturday.
This year, the platter includes Tuna steak, salmon, sirloin steak, king prawns, homemade chips, salad and a bottle of house wine for 2 people, for only £30!

Winter Daytime Special
Winter lunch time special menu just launched! Between 12pm and 6pm Wednesday to Friday, 2 courses will be only £12, and 3 courses will be just £15! Daily Menu 28th – 31st
Armed Forces and Emergency Service Discount
As a mark of respect on Armistice Day for all of those who have, and continue to put their lives on the line, we will be giving the armed forces and emergency services personnel a discount in our restaurant until the 1st of May 2015!
If you are a member of the armed forces or emergency services, simply book a table and bring your ID with you. We will then very happily take 15% off your bill! Unfortunately, this discount must exclude special offers.
HOT STONE DINING
Hot Stones is a unique dining concept that involves cooking fresh meats and seafood on volcanic stone slabs. This method seals in the natural juices of the food, providing extraordinary flavour and taste.
We hope that with the backdrop of our cove, coupled with this method of dining will provide you with an unforgettable experience.
Our meat and seafood are all locally sourced. Until our butcher has written down all of the wonderful things he wants to say about the meats we will let the freshness of his produce do the talking…
