Lusty Glaze Adventure Centre would like to invite you to our Half Term Sweet Shop Treasure Hunt this February half term.

Our highly trained instructors will be on hand to lead the Treasure Hunt and make sure that everyone is kept safe. We start with a beach briefing and some basic beach safety information. Then our teams of “Hunters” will work together to search the nooks and crannies of the beach to find the clues and undertake a series of fun challenges, such as the spider’s web, tiles and shelter build.

These activities can be tailored to the age of the children taking part. The aim of the game is to complete the tasks and collect clues, leading teams to a map which shows where the treasure is buried.

Parents are encouraged to join in and help complete the tasks as this is a team game for the whole family and some of the tasks require adult support.

Lusty Glaze is a beautiful horseshoe shaped cove sheltered in the heart of Newquay bay. The beach is privately owned and is home to the Adventure Centre, an activity centre based around the 120 foot cliffs which surround the beach.

The Treasure Hunts will take place on Tuesday 16th Thursday and 18th February 2010, two sessions each day starting at 10am and 2pm. The hunt lasts about an hour and a half. The invitation is open to all children and adults and costs £25 per family.
